GTA V PC – Switch FAST in MODDED mode without programs.

I do this tutorial because I needed a quick way to switch between the clean version of Gta V and the moddata, logging offline ..

For some months Rockstar has introduced the inability to start Gta V outside of its installation folder .. so even creating a copy of the original folder and inserting the command “-scOfflineOnly” does not work.

With this method it is possible to replace or better rename the moddata folder with the name of the original one. Only in this way can you start offline and use the mods.
You could rename the folder every time manually, but for those who are “lazy” like me, I created a batch file to perform this operation with just one click.

Follow the instructions you find in the archive with precision and remember to make a backup before any changes to the original files.

Theoretically it should work also with Steam .. important put this path with:
XXX:\Steam\steamapps\common

This is an example to DISABLE AUTO UPDATE WITH STEAM.
You have to find appmanifest containing “GrandTheft Auto V”
GO IN PATH “XXX:\Steam\steamapps” AND EDIT “APPMANIFEST” WITH NOTEPAD++
